Tantalus Drive

That is Josh in a massive banyan tree. It had grown on a cliff. The view was amazing.
I loved taking pictures of the amazing flowers. The smell in the air was captivating. There are so many flowers on Oahu that the air smells like a floral shop.

Manoa Falls

The landscape here was amazing. I could not take enough pictures. This picture really does not do the waterfall justice.

Last night

This is us having Dinner at Benihana. I love that place. It was fun!! and a great way to end a great week.

A little random

Here are some pictures that are a little out of order as far as date but they are good ones of the kids.

Our little kitty.

Lilly loves the camera. Can you tell? She was a kitty for Halloween. This was Melodie's costume when she was one. It brought back memories.

We have only just begun.........

This is the "foot print" of our house. The boys were out helping the contractors lay down tarps before the storm came so that the ground didn't get saturated. We should be starting on Jan 7 but.........another storm is supposed to come in. So we shall see.

Avery the red-nosed reindeer?

For one of my music classes I taught the kids rudolph with some funny costumes. This is Avery in all his glory.

My life right now

For many of you that don't know, I have decided to go back to school and get my teaching credential. So on top of being a mom of four and teaching music at the elementary school and assisting in the choir program and callings and well you know ......a mothers life, I am taking this on. I am excited and I really think that this is what I am meant to do.

Also I was inspired to start a website recently. I apply for all scholarships when I can, and one of them required me to start a website. It is nothing special but I am proud of it. http://mothers.to.be.googlepages.com I thought it would be a great way to network moms to be and share information about pregnancy and mothering.

Just as a side note, because I am sooo excited, next week Josh and I are going to HAWAII!!!! one whole week. Thanks to Aunt Jill and Grandma Rula who are coming to Cali to watch my kids.

Food, food and more food!!

This is where we spent most of our time.....eating.

Avery Boxing

Hey, it's a good way to let him get his boy craziness out.

The Triplets

Our girls, Delayne, Melodie and Brooke. Gaylene, Sanna and I did not plan this in any way. But they are sure cute.

Happy New Years!!

Well the Hansen's had a wonderful New years celebration at our house this past week. It was a blast. Luckily Santa brought our kids a Wii for all of the cousins to play with. Well and the adults too. So here are some pics from the week.

Christmas 2006

In the beginning....

Well after much pressure from some friends, I have my blog. So we shall wee how good I am at keeping it up. We are busy, busy right now. Soccer has started, I have been put in charge of the road show, some of my friends want to start a co-op preschool, we are very close to starting constuction on out house in Ione, and school starts next week, which I have endless commitments there.
Josh is busy working at the California Youth Authority as a councelor. He also volunteers at the local fire department and goes to countless city meetings, as our little city is seeing some big changes lately(We are hoping for the better).
Melodie is loving that soccer has started and is anxious for school to start. She will going into the 4th grade. Once school has started she will be right back into choir and all the craziness. She loves being busy. She thrives on the pandimonium.
Avery is excited that he is no longer a kindergartener and is in the big leagues. He gets to go to school for the entire day and he is loving that and so am I. He has started his third year in soccer and is a maniac on the field. He scores at least one goal a game.
Cayden is my little sweetheart. He is always there to give me a big hug and a kiss when ever i need it. We are going to do a co-op preschool this year for him so that will be good. Kids get to this age and they get board, especially because his mother is so busy.
And our sweet little Lilly is 8 mo old. She is the star of the show. She has soooo much personallity. She loves to dance and shake, shake, shake her booty. She is such a happy baby.

Well that is us in a nut shell. I will post pictures when I have a little more time to sit and do so.
